Thank You Mother

Today is my mother's birthday, and I feel lucky to have a mother who really is just my best friend.

I don't know of any mothers who work harder than my mom.

I don't know too many mothers who raised 5 children, taught piano from sun up to sun down (literally she started before the sun came up), kept the house perfectly clean, did all of our laundry, helped everyone with their homework, came to every sporting event, made sure each of us practice the piano, and scheduled, planned, and organized everyone's lives without a single complaint.

I don't know too many mothers who are as capable, talented, and loving.

I don't know too many mothers will laugh for hours with me in Sam's Club after she just fell down on the asphalt in the parking lot.

I really don't know too many mothers who will fly to New Zealand alone with two large suitcases and a cardboard box twice the size of her to bring this to little dorian.

I don't know too many mothers who will travel around australia with me for 2 weeks and stay in the nastiest hostels ever and get yelled at by a pirate and just laugh hysterically with me.

Thank you mom for being my best role model.
Thank you for always encouraging me to work hard.
Thank you for showing me whats important in life.
Thank you for listening to me sob over the phone after I got a 45% on my first test at BYU.
Thank you for listening to me sob over the phone when I got my second 45% at BYU.
Thank you for laughing with me.
Thank you for always understanding me.
Thank you for being my best friend.

oooh, so I think this means I have to stop being annoyed when you're in town and I call you 9x and you don't return my phonecalls and then I see you and your mom at Costco. Terry Thomas is pretty awesome.
